Professional Event of the International & EU Law Programme at The Hague University – first & single platform for jobs & internships discussion in International law since 2010 – Employers and Master Programmes of partner universities attend to recruit top students in law from the best Bachelor of Law Programme of the Netherlands in 2014 (September 2014 – Elsevier survey)
During 3 hours, registered students discuss with employers, with the real conditions of a job interview. Employers can evaluate potential candidates within an afternoon for a possible invitation to a second interview.
Employers get the possibility to reach a large audience of students for presenting their company, law firm, international organisation, embassy, agency, etc. We provide lecture rooms with smartboard for presentations and Q&A session if requested by the employer.
Every year, 2 alumni minimum are invited on the stage of the Aula to talk to students, employers and faculty members. Some alumni also send their video testimony (from Beijing, Bratislava, etc). More alumni attend the ENE as an alumni reunion every year, which inspires even more current students.
Each Employment Network Event, we have the honour to welcome a honourable and distinguished personality to share with us his/her experience when searching for an internship or a job linked with international, commercial and EU law. Previous guest speaker were the Vice-President of the European Commission Jyrki Katainen, the European Commissioner Vera Jurova, an MEP, two MPs of the Dutch parliament, a Vice-President of the Walt Disney Company for Global Public Affairs and the President of the Institute for Environmental Security.

4 years of studies in The Hague dedicated to the employability of all the students in International, commercial and EU law.
Year 1 & Year 2: 1/3 of the 64 tutorials are only dedicated to study & career coaching by lecturers acting as tutors, sharing their experience with students.
International institutions and organisations in The Hague, Brussels and Geneva are visited by students in organised trips in Year 1 & Year 2 to inspire them for potential internships.
Every student is asked to complete 100 consecutive or non-consecutive working days of internships with a report and a defense before graduation, in the Netherlands or abroad.
Alumni, now around the world, remain coming back visiting the university during the Employment Network Event and/or an Meet-a-graduate occasion, to discuss and share with current students.
